"One's due will be served"

What is Justice?

For some it's a want,

For some a necessity,

For some a passion,

And for some, a twisted game of chess,

With people's souls and innocence as pawn

What is one's due?

And why is it to be served?

At one's due,

Through and through

One can be anyone,

The worlds not in black grey and white

The due is everyone's,

The innocent, the guilty, the wrong, the right

Justice given at the price of others is not.

Everyone has to serve their own due.

That is to be learned.

That is to be taught.

In the end, is it justice?

If the souls who paid their due, rot?

No, it's not.

That’s why I believe,

That before one’s dues are served,

The truth is what all must sought.
