Just For Once

By Rishika Rani

Just for once

I want them to look at me,

Like I looked at them.

Just for once

I want them to admire me,

Like I admired them

Just for once

I want them to smile at me,

Like I smiled looking at their pictures.

Just for once

I want them to get excited for my text,

Like I used to get excited by a simple reply.

Just for once

I want them to make me happy,

Like I made them( I guess so).

Just for once

I want to hug them tight,

As if there’s no tomorrow.

Just for once

I want to talk to them,

Until there’s an apocalypse.

Just for once

I want to hold their hands,

And never let go.

Just for once

I want to tell them,

I’ll be their’s , till forever fall apart.

Just for once

I want them to like me,

Just like I liked them.
