Jungle Play

The male lion roars to send his enemies away.
His roar can be heard from far far away.
The lionessess hunt to feed the hungry pride.
Their baby cubs are playful and stay by their side.
The elephant can walk almost silently with their soft padded feet.
They love munching on grass and never eat meat.
They use their powerful trunks for smelling and eating, as well as caressing their young.
They love to go swimming and role themselves in mud, to protect their skin from the sun.
The bat will wake to the nights moon ray, as they are nocturnal and sleep all day.
They see the world in black and white and relpy on sound to hunt at night.
They hang upside down and go to sleep lookingat the ground.
They eat fruit, flowers, insects and leaves and can be found in caves and hollow trees.
The clever monkey is active and can jump on branches that sway.
They use their long limbs to balance and search for food through the day.
The black and white zebra has a body like a horse.
They can gallop across the grasslands with such great speed and force.
They use their powerful legs to kick, while protecting themselves in a fight.
They can also use thier teeth to give a nasty bite.
They may just look black and white, but did you know..... each one has their own pattern stripe.
The powerful cheetah runs with great speed. He can also be silent as he hides behind reeds.
He can leap, jumo and pounce on his vulnerable prey.
His speed and camouflage help him to hunt and kep his predators away.
The giraffe has a tall, powerful neck.
You can see he's the tallest from all the rest.
His camouflage protects him from others, so he can stand in front of trees and bushes, blending in his furry spots on his neck, tail and chest.
This helps him to safely eat, play and rest.
Crocodiles can be seen, in rivers, streama and lakes.
They use theirr large teeth to eat birds, fish and snakes.
Their eyes can be seen just above the water, waiting for a catch.
You need to be careful so you dont get snapped.
