Journey

By Divya Viswanath

Heard  the talking toms whisper and go chitter chatter with a raised eye brow and a shrunk eye,Grinning and glaring at the waves of affection coming at me. I sure have surpassed the shore  of loneliness I treaded on, that scared me.

Ogled, yet envied  at the blossoming fragrant   Garden inherited,Never kept on display the million thorns that pricked me.

The how’s,the why’s the How come, never seizes to vanish from the sparkling scene of glory.Conveniently ignoring the path I carved and chiseled, that made me.

Nothing can ruin me further.Survived from debris that once buried my soul. It’s been a life time to collect the pices to conclude the puzzle.Have risen from darkness of nightmares that scarred me.

Surprise is The factor. The good, the bad the different.Learnt to navigate through the challenges.Obstacles have stopped to irk me

Proud of thyself for the terrains traversed thus far.Have built my life with bare hands and with pocket full of positivity. This journey has fulfilled me.
