Jins Hilarious Wake up Call

By Humaira

Once upon a time, a fifteen-year-old boy named Jin woke up feeling a bit disoriented. As he looked around, he saw some unfamiliar faces.

“Who are you, lady?” he asked, his eyes wide with confusion.

The woman looked at him with a smirk and said, “What do you mean? I’m your wife! How could you not know that?”

Jin’s eyes bugged out. “I’m just fifteen! How could I have a wife?”

Just then, a little girl with pigtails bounded in, shouting, “Daddy!” Jin nearly jumped out of his skin.

“No way! Dad?!” he yelled. “I’m just fifteen! What’s happening?”

He bolted from the room, only to hear the woman calling after him, “Why are you running, sweetie? Come back here!”

Jin dashed through the house until he stumbled upon a photograph of a much older woman who looked eerily like his own mother. Panicking, he muttered, “What happened to my mother?”

The woman’s voice came again, “Oh darling, your mother passed away five years ago.”

Jin was about to lose it completely. He was practically vibrating with anxiety when the little girl tugged at his sleeve and said, “Daddy, let’s play!”

“No! I’m not your dad! What’s going on?” he screamed.

He raced through the house and found an old man sipping matcha tea. Desperate, he asked, “Who are you?”

The old man looked at him calmly and said, “What do you mean, who am I?”

The woman walked in and said, “That’s your father, sweetie!”

Jin’s jaw dropped. “My father? But he looks so old! He was supposed to be young and cool!”

He continued to stumble upon more people who looked ancient but whom he recognized, all while trying to act like he didn’t know them.

Just as he was about to lose his mind, he suddenly woke up in his own bed. His mother was sitting next to him, looking concerned. He hugged her tightly and said, “Mom, I thought you were gone!”

Confused, his mother asked, “What on earth were you dreaming about?”

Jin sheepishly replied, “Oh, nothing much. Just a really weird, silly dream where everyone was ancient and you were a ghost!”

His mother laughed, “Well, I’m glad you’re back to reality.”

Jin sighed in relief, thankful that the bizarre dream was over and everything was back to normal.
