Why does one die

When one is trying to save?

Why does one cry

When one dies?

Why does the world seem to stop for that

One second too long in life?

Why does one feel that the world is shattering

When the world is still out there?

In the midst of the woods disguised as hell,

In the midst of mental thoroughfare

Why does one feel that one's alone

When there are so many standing to share?

Why does one feel,

When one is lost in the oblivion of thoughts

That life is slipping away?

Why is it that 'why' is all we can say,

When a million things run in our brains?

But who is the one who decides who dies,

And who is the one who kills?

Who is the one that deems one worthy,

While the others worth killing?

Is he almighty, is he the king,

Is he the ruler of fate?

Is he that good, truly enough

Or is he simply the bait?
