Jasmine

A ghostly bloom with scent so deep

It stirs the dreams, you dare not keep

Petals as pale as the bloodless skin

A crown for sorrows and whispered sins

It climbs the wall of broken stones

And sings the song of broken bones

Each bloom a breath of buried past

Of love that died but forever lasts

Each bud a vow, each leaf a flame

That softly speaks someone's tender name

No flower knows such sweet despair

To bloom alone with no one to care

It weeps in scent, it mourns in white

The jasmine thrives in death and night
