Jai Jawaan

To all people protecting our border,

We know your job couldn’t be harder,

You work for our motherland day and night,

At every step, every decision needs to be right.

Long away from your families you strive,

Without the fear of losing your lives,

You are the reason our country is secured and it thrives,

How can we understand your efforts, we are so naïve.

Serving the force from land , water or air,

You do things only you would dare,

Each day your discipline and spirit never grows older,

Carrying the burden of a nation on your shoulder.

Oh! What a feeling for all of us immense pride,

Would it be to be with you in this ride,

To be everybody’s ‘Aan , Baan , Shaan’,

All we say is ‘Jai Jawaan , Jai Jawaan’.
