Its Raining Again

By Riya Singh

It's the war between the winds and land

The bright lights that roar around

Are growling of the thunder

Striking swords in fierce

The sky looks all commandeered

The dark clouds have won the reign

The winds are dancing the steps of honour

There's someone very happy hiding the sun inside

May be for some time it's gonna prolong

Titter tatter makes the droplets everywhere it falls

The soil has left its essence in the wind, I can't smell any further

The windows are all traced by splashes of water

Everything has paused for an hour

It's only the kings among the clouds speaking

Rest all are in fest for a little while standing still

I'm amazed I like when the rains win

They are the symbol of downpour after a win that's worthwhile

I don't mind even if it' dark

Not all blacks symbolise loss mark

To me it's the spark

The winds impersonal to me engaging me in more activeness

The splatter tuning with my work

The clouds so serene making my thoughts wide and nice.

It's raining again

And I bargain

To rain again and again
