It's You

By Vomna Mohan

Someone: What do you think is poetry?

Me: Poetry!

The warm smile whenever the eyes meet

The adorable pout during facetime-ings

The little cuddles while making love

Everyday morning puffy face after waking up

The gentle forehead kisses during moon cycle

The little dances in the course of joyful times

The puppy eyes, when left wondering

The forehead wrinkles while explaining things

The frowned eyebrows when confused

Washing dishes and cleaning up trashes

The baby voice seeking attention

For me, it’s him

Everything about him is poetry
