It's Not Painful

As you stand at the shores of the world,

facing problems that people at you hurled.

Thinking whether to move forward or run away,

but I say, “don’t worry, life has its way”.

When bad times hurt your mind,

you just try to be so kind.

By saying “it's not painful!”,

but actions of people can be unfaithful.

When friends and sticks become a part of life,

sometimes good and sometimes bad.

You say, “It's not painful!”,

well, friends can be disdainful.

Upon destroying your self-esteem, does negation march with victory,

And upon your mind establishing dictatory.

You say, “It's not painful!” just for the sake,

to sound strong, though it may sound fake.

Please realise it's sometimes fine to say,

“YES, it pains!” and find a way.

Saying “It hurts” can be a delirious task,

even for those who think it matters to ask.
