Invisible Strings

Kissed by dreams I dare not claim,

Remembering her still feels the same.

Across the void, her silence sings,

Tied to her by invisible strings.

In her shadow my heart remains still

Searching for meaning through fire and will.

Amidst the wreckage, I carry the flame,

I whispered to gods, but none ever came.

Not in defiance, but aching belief,

I chose to love, even through grief.
