Inside A Man’s Head

I feel your lingering eyes on me,

On my body-beneath my silks

I feel the way you strip me bare;

With your eyes, without the need to touch

I stand, unable to move, to stop you

For you’re striping me, in your mind;

Therefore it doesn’t truly happen

Yet it does, more truly than real.

Inside the walls of imagination

Where any man, either-

Murderer; thief; farmer; doctor;

Are free to do as they wish

None see it for it doesn’t happen,

But we feel those searching eyes;

Striping us, layer by layer

Until we’re yours to take.
