Inferno

By Megha.V

All the candles I lit up to run over darkness, starts to burn this place down. I stand still as flames build up on all corners. They run around like kids on playground. They touch everything around me. They climb up the curtains. They draw paintings of dark demons on the walls. I sit and watch as they bring everything to dust. As helpless and hopeless I can be, I let them take over. They bring me to my knees. As everything around me burns down, I breath. As my walls crumble down, I see the sky. Maybe this isn't my destruction, this is my revival.
