Inescapably Toxic

Shining with the stars is nothing compared to

sitting in the rain with you.

You're indelible.

For you I'd steal the stars,

I'd run to Mars

and we'd be together in all our adventures.

Twisted like the gazes on me.

Staring into our abyss, thinking

about our dreams which morphed into 

nightmares the moment you left.

You made every moment yours,

stealing everything that was mine

making it yours

so intoxicatingly toxic.

I could never escape your hold.

Oh, to drown in the unsaid words,

the unsung songs which haunts

my undead soul.
