Why do you care if I am light or dark 

How do I fail to cross the mark . 

Why do care if I am thin or fat , 

Why do you see me as a revolting rat. 

Why do you care about who I was, 

Hoping for you to change is a lost cause 

 Why do you care if I am pretty or ugly 

Inside I’m still me . 

Why do you mind who I like , 

You take shots at me strike after strike.

Why do you mind if I’m male or female,

 Why does that determine whether I succeed or fail. 

Why should I change why can’t you accept me,

 Then maybe for once all of us can be happy.
