Incompleteness

Perhaps this will happen, may be that will happen.

We all dwell on this bridge between what could be and what is.

In search of truth, some begin from this side

And some start their journey from the other side.

But every journey remains incomplete!

Are all truths to be found in incompleteness?

O God, lead me unto the complete truth!

Darkness before opening the eyes,

Darkness after closing the eyes,

Light only in the interval!

And not all receive it!

For blindness is not just an accident or a curse,

It is also a habit for some.

While filling colours in history,

Somebody has darkened the present.

Now there are no colours left for the future!

Does the future belong to a colourless incompleteness?

O God, lead me unto the divine light!

Finally, everything has to be subtracted.

And after this subtraction, remains only death!

Or is there a multiplication beyond death?

And perhaps more fearsome

Than all the subtractions of living

Is that multiplication of afterlife!

O God, lead me unto the eternal life!
