In This Deceived World

I'm not contrasting myself with anyone;

I'm just caught between truth and falsehood.

Because I believe this world is not yet ready to face the reality,

As it finds solace in lies over truths.


The world’s darkness eclipses the sun's radiance.

Perhaps I could be mistaken, and I'd gladly accept it,

But no one can prove me wrong

Because I'm a deception myself!


My mere existence deceives everyone,

My love, efforts, and dreams are all nothing but illusions!

Perhaps the hardships I've endured were fabricated,

And my affection for her was nothing but a grand deceit!


"I adore you with all my heart."

Should have been my words, yet I hesitated,

And now I endure each day, dying every passing second,

As I regret about all the mistakes I have made.


I'm judged as foolish for my sensitivity,

I’m mocked for expressing emotions openly,

I’m labeled awful for failing to suppress my fury,

I’m a leech dependent on the one I cherish.


Yet I know I'll keep loving her,

As l will constantly remain as a great lie in their lives!
