In The Mirror

I'm yours forever

Are the words I said

Clinging to the future

And clearing my head.

Having burned each other

And bringing on storm

To now adoring your light

That has kept me warm.

It took courage and patience

To be faced and seen

'Cause I was always rude to you

Acting so mean.

I look back at the times,

At the past we share

So here I come

Leaving my heart open & bare.

Now when I see

The mirror where you live

I think I can live with myself

While I forget and forgive.

My love is me, in the mirror

And I hope yours become too

While we start living for ourselves

In a reality that's true.

Stop self sabotaging

And love yourself my friend

For life will become lively

Until the very sweet end.
