In The End

I am slowly dying

I’m not as strong as I used to be

My friends are slowly dying

They ride along right next to me

Everyone I know is dyin'

We distract ourselves with a buzz

In the end I hope you’re next to me

In the end I hope we all had fun

My sight is slowly blurring

My heart is pumping hard

My bones are slowly fraying

My lungs are filled with shards

Everyone I know is dyin'

We kill ourselves just to get a buzz

In the end I hope you’re next to me

In the end I hope we all had fun

I look in the mirror

My flame is going out

My friends, I watch, they’re dying

One by one, their lights go out

Everyone I know is cryin’

All we want is a little buzz

In the end oh won't you stay with me

In the end I will think

I am about to die

This body will lose its warmth

My friends will all be dead

And this song will ring out

Everyone in the world is dying

We kill each other for feeling

In the end, when no light remains

Nothing we do will matter
