In The Cold December Night.

I knew I was in the wrong place-

I was slowly sinking in solitude

And it ignited my apprehension.

I inhaled the air of despondency

And it started to suffocate me

But then you came to my rescue.

You shared your fresh breath

And your soft kiss revived me.

Everytime you held my hand,

You took me back in time

As I got lost in your eyes

And went staring into space.

You took me out of the wrong place!

Your arms felt so warm and nice-

I knew your presence would suffice,

So I needed nothing but you

To keep me warm and alive

In the cold December night.
