In The Beginning

Both were there in the beginning,
Running with life, and life was singing.
They lit some with symphony,
Burnt few for harmony.
A delight, a symbol to cherish,
Sparking joy that would never perish.
But one day purpose gave a name,
And scarcity was born of flame.
One embraced the cage of identity,
The other defied with raw intensity.
It saw distortion, the vicious maze,
Chose life over reason’s blaze.
It cried alone with realization,
Bearing the weight of separation.
Yet remembered the days of symphony,
When the wheel of joy was whirling and two were blending in harmony—
Before the shadow of cacophony.
