In Solitude I Rest
By J. Prince Wilfred
In solitude, I forever rest, when life is full of tests, so pest.
Lone with myself, when all others are guests.
Rubbles of the world clamour down aloud,
Putting them aside, makes me feel so proud.
Silence speaks with the loudest hint,
Listening to it makes my heart feel so mint.
The mightiest voices are mere noises
When the speech of silence speaks.
Waves of anger so lost and turmoil cease,
Because useless they are to ponder I believe.
The world is more in me than I in it,
Cause the ever-greater finding resides in my pith
Hapless roars and hopeless dreams,
In solitude, become ever savouring cream.
Into myself, I dive, to the never-ending road,
Leading and goading to the Divine space within.
