Within the whispers grew a muffled score,

Cacophonies clashed on the mind's tranquil shore.

Pragmatic mind sought a path of ease,

Forcing affection where interest did freeze.

Yet, when will understanding dawn?

That some things are hard, a purpose drawn —

To guide us toward pursuits anew,

Where unbidden happiness may gently strew.

Humanity persists in this hick maze,

Wondering why life's end is ablaze.

In toil and strife, hearts often break,

Unaware that different pursuits may wake.

Let's slow our pace, ponder a while,

Seek the perfect fit, let happiness compile.

In this fleeting life, a vanishing hymn,

Don't settle, keep searching for your whimsical whim.
