to us.

of us?

i write songs, and play

the piano.

you push away the white

curtains, letting light

linger in the air.

in my dreams,

i see you dream.

supernova hues exploding

into one another

leaving only remnants of black.

how strange.

you dream in black

and white.

you dream

of us?

you fold the clothes

sleeves in, collars tucked.

i arrange them in the cupboard

giving myself 3 drawers and you 1

just to see that craven smirk linger

on your face.

in my dreams,

i see you dream.

how strange.

supernova hues exploding

into one another

leaving only remnants.

leaving.

i could have sworn

we were bursting

with tainted hues -

fingers grazing, eyes meeting

from corners so tucked away

no one in this world saw us

dancing in the rainbow.

yet in my dreams,

i see how you are in the darkness.

so as you pack your bags,

and hug me goodbye,

how do i tell you,

i have dreamed of this.
