Soliloquy

Once a lament, now a love ballad. What have you done to me? The scars now faded, no longer bleeding out my light; wasted potential. trapped in cycles of repetition, suckling the tit of novelty, as my heart and mind fight for speech. Words without meaning, yet sound like a newborn's first cry; tragedy. In scraping together a map to find a path within electric branches, all I have is cold fingers and a keyboard; I write a soliloquy, and I pray to above — left on seen.

Maybe you’ve done little, and this is all me.

What a strange phenomenon, the bored mind, bewitched with obsession.
