Immortals

Red swirls in their glass

The cavern of a closet

Filled with letters

Telling their life past.

Not a drop must spill

While they swim in the dark

The glass’ space

Full life could fill.

File them away

And they look through the hole.

Was not drinking the wine

Worth it at all?
