Illegal Habitation

By Ramkrishna Paul

Encroachment legal or illegal,

Grabbing land working here,

Without documents, a lethal,

For sons of soil,a nightmare?

Infiltration on the rampant way,

Encouragement like a dote,

Booster dose given for mileage

No anti-dote, but let them loot.

A dangerous trend on full swing

For gaining profit in the fray,

A relentless push for trespassing

To let them occupy in the day!

What a tap given only for power

Intruders are patronized,shame!

What a slap given to owner

Born here since timeless time!

Let's pray for a vibrant society,

A  progress full of peace and

Love, a serene sky full of gaiety,

A nation enlightened by friend.
