If Only….

1 min read

It's cold out here,

It's lonely.

Want to hold onto dreams

I'll do what I can, if only.

If only, there was voice,

Calling out my name.

But it's just a long silence,

For time it has been the same

If only, there was a light,

To inspire, hope or keep.

Just totally confused,

Am I climbing up or digging deep?

If only, there was a touch,

To bring my body to life.

To fight battles with darkness,

Holding my trusty knife.

If only, there was a spell,

To break chains around my soul.

To help me see summits,

To push me towards my goals.
