If I had known!

Only if I had known,

You had abundance and I had a few,

Our love was pure like camphor,

What made it not win the race then?

They say it’s not always love that keeps us going,

Sometimes we need a touch too!

A touch of warmth, a touch of longingness, a touch of security,

And then there are times we need to breathe not the air but each other, the fears and the traumas we carry,

It’s true when they say it’s just not love that keeps us going but these elements that are hidden there in the name of love,

Many try to escape but only a few pierce through and win,

But what if you lose in the middle?
