If I Had Been

If I had been the one

standing there

Holding a gun in my thenar.

If I had been the one

risking myself

Fighting the man who stand against my flag

I wonder how would I've felt.

Maybe nervous

Maybe frightened

But for sure wouldn't regret.

The moment bullet strikes with mine,

I would have grin ear to ear

And yelled my country's jingle.

Ordering my subordinates

For the last time,

I would command to continue the fight.

Saluting my country's land

With a proud mein

Is all I want in my end.

Grasping the walky talky

I would utter the last words

"Yeh Dil Maange More"

To rest peacefully away from chaos.

Recalling memories of my loved ones,

I would bid my adios.

Bring

wrapped in my tricolour penon,

I would be satisfied with my conclusion.
