If I Could… Why Would I?

By Sarthak Sahay

If I could say it in words

Why would I write poems?

If there's a place where we're together

Why would I even wish to bother?

If I could always see you

Why would I even need a beautiful view?

If the dreams aren't shattered till

Why would I even drop my will?

If there's still a single ray of hope

Why would I even stress the twisted rope?

If I could bring you a perpetual glow

Why would I even let my winds of love blow?

And if I could bring you a smile

Why would I even care about my feelings for a while?
