If I am not Human

If I am not Human, I think I will be a building.

Actually I am sure I feel like a building, a building standing tall, a building overlooking a pond.

A building which at first glance seems like touching the sky, tearing a cloud.

She is trying to hold tight, trying to forget what just went inside.

With all the emotions and cracks on the wall, Telling herself to calm down.

Look closely and you see

Each balcony has a story to narrate, each window having a face to share.

Sometimes a mother, with some wet clothes,

Or a the dad with some ashes to throw.

Sometimes it’s a cradle with a warm smile

Or it’s a girl with damp eyes.

Look closely and I see the story clear

The story of her heart, that is again broken in tear

Let’s not get deep, and let her be on her own.

As it turns the heart said, babe, it’s just you.
