If God Were a Woman

They called her an emotional fool,

When she chose to prioritise her loved ones—

Yet, THY GOD remained silent.

They called her selfish,

When she chose to prioritise herself—

Yet, THY GOD remained silent.

Maybe THY GOD was a coward,

Who couldn’t stand for His own children.

Or maybe THY GOD is a casting director,

Auditioning for the movie “The Super Mommy.”

I’m sure THY GOD — the part-time casting director —

Should have resigned long ago,

For all women are outperforming His audition.

Whatsoever, life might have been much more peaceful,

If THY GOD — The Creator, The Almighty —

Were a woman,

Instead of a cowardly man !
