I write, and it is anything but beautiful

I hold my pen and let venom externalise the toxicity in my soul. I write with pain so the emptiness on the paper is filled unlike the void within me. I write words that cloud over with despair and melancholy that it makes others’ unease– crawling underneath their skin.

I write, and you would think that I am a masochist rather than a romantic. the sickest part of me wishes to dwell longer in this pessimism for I speak fluently in this language. maybe if you sit in my silence, you will hear the faintest screams in my mind and the cruel whispers I wish to not decipher as they linger inside my head.

have a seat with me and I shall pour you a drink,

and fill my glass with acid until it overspills.
