And you were the reason for all of it,

You were the reason I trusted someone,

You were the reason I cared,

You were the reason I romanticized rain,

I am how I am now,

But you are stuck with who I was before,

I am the river whose water flows into oblivion,

The water that cannot quench anyone's thirst,

Yet, I continue to flow, frivolous, where the wind blows,

I validate my own existence,

I do everything in my power to make it up to what I could've been…

If, only if I were to blame, I would blame you.
