I Wish I Wasn't

Star light, star bright,

The first star, I see tonight

I wish I may, I wish I might, 

Have this wish, I wish tonight, 

I wish that I was happier, 

I want the world less grey, 

I wish the brightest star at night, 

Would brighten up my day, 

I wish it was less cold, 

I wish there were less fights, 

I wish the world was more a world, 

Less wrongs and more rights, 

I wish that I was cooler, 

And liked by all my friends, 

I wish that I could undo, 

The mistakes from my end, 

I wish I wasn't guilty, 

I wish I could love more, 

I wish it was less complex, 

Love's no open door, 

I wish there were less voices, 

Voices in my head, 

I wish for that person, 

To stop wishing me dead,

I wish there was no star light, 

Star light that I see, 

I wish there were no wishes, 

So everyone can be free, 

I wish I was an empath, 

Like the Greek god Pan, 

He wept and cried for his loved ones, 

For he too was a man, 

Suffering proves you human, 

Suffering's all you get, 

For you are a human, 

Cosmos, one big net, 

I am a human, 

But sometimes, 

I wish I wasn't
