I Was Not Born To Be Perfect

I wasn't really born to be perfect enough,

But life taught me how to face the tough.

I was not born with everything that I need,

I had to leave behind my anger and greed.

I was born neither to lead nor to inspire,

But the want to be me is only what I aspire.

I was neither born clever nor at all witty,

But to achieve my goals, I became gritty.

I was not born to simply win it all,

I had my own flaws and a steep downfall.

I was not born with a strong mulish mind,

But I developed it to be one of a kind.

I was not born an angel with a wand and a wing,

But I know, I was born, to achieve something.
