I Not We

When I was walking on fours

Those forests of concrete attracted me most,

Those tall skyscrapers and those petites homes

Stood then for the development they showed.

As I grew up and my eyes searched more

The forest and the lively trees was what I longed for

Hardly can I see a tree, the idea of forest seems too off shore.

But tell can you see something that was evident before?

All I see are building and high rises discussing their evil plans,

Making sure they take over the Earth, ensuring life brutally ends.

Says a skyscraper "See those humans there, I eagerly await their end

No matter they are our creators, but they our killing our dear friend".

This conversation pushed my wit

I understood it is not the buildings who are the culprit.

It is we who is causing the earth such great pains

So we need to encourage each other to use our full brains,

Then I waited and waited till someone did something to redress their guilt

But the time didn't come now the flowers have wilt

Now I know it’s not just “we” who must try,

But I must act, without asking why.

Because when this earth turns to sand

You will not be able to say this was part of god's plan.
