I Met A Bear

Once I saw a big brown bear

He had quite a lot of hair

I saw him on October 31st

He was fat enough to almost burst!

“Hello!” I said in cheery tones

Though ice was flooding through my bones

The bear grunted back in reply

Why did he come across me?

                         Why, oh why?

The bear came towards me, walking real slow

What he wanted from me; I do not know!

I backed away, and just in time too!

‘Shoo!’ I thought! ‘Shoo, bear shoo!’

He came closer, and suddenly I RAN!

Cool wind whipped against my face like a fan

“Help!” I cried “Don’t chase me so!”

No use… I was lying dead on the floor

Now I’m all the way in heaven

In heaven years, I just turned seven!

In human years I was actually nine

But there’s TV here, so I’m just fine!
