I Made A List

Fellow Humans Aren’t Necessarily Your People

Look, look out the window.

it’s ok. See, everything is fine.

The world is plenty and young are you still to claim it.

Ha! Yes. Humans of our inner circles,

Radius of a point to this world of people.

Switch on the tv. Hear that, Ah that feels better.

The world is plenty and young are you to still,

Claim it.

To think. For thought. Of course it helps.

Bury your forehead in the pillow. It’s heavy

And fuzzy now.

The world is plenty and young are you still,

To claim it?

Turn up the volume on that tune. It’s half past nine.

But mom gets it, I think.

I need the time!

Shake your head, splash some water, flush the pale.

The world is plenty. Still, young are you to claim it?

Of course, cry it out.

Let it seep deep,

Deep into the Earth.

The groundwater supposedly helps you grow.

Because you are still young to claim it.

And the world is plenty?

Make a list.

Maybe,

You will forget it.
