I'm sorry

So sorry to have left you

In your rainbow of regrets

It didn't sit well to defend your side

I apologise to have left you hanging

I could have been better i realised

You shattered me once

But didn't mean i had the right

To pin you up on my walls with daggers you molded

I watched you spill through my words

I apologise for those words

I don't deserve them

We keep pushing,

our hearts can take only so much

Can you hear me?

Please hear me.

Show me i matter,

Can you tell I'm trying?

We know so many languages

Yet sorry slips through them all

I wish you lost your rust,to feel the breeze

I can sense your energy,

Your buzzing is in my dreams

Hold your horses, so mine can sleep

I wish i didn't wish you to change

Our hearts are punctured from discourse

At each others mercy we stand

Would our daggers ever turn into roses?
