Being around you makes me feel breathless, like I’ve run a marathon and I cannot stand the fact that you’ve carved your name into my ribs and that I let you. You hold onto old CDs, always drive over the speed limit and when I imagine us sitting on a kitchen island, going through the grocery list, I cannot think of anything I want more.
