I m an Open Book
By Yogisha Rani
I m an open book written in an ink that can only be seen over the flames of burning fire,
Written in a language so complex that can only be read by a few, and understood by fewer.
I m a book written by a forgotten author, in the caves beneath the surface and light thats yet to
reach the land.
I m a book written of thoughts of a millisecond, gone before they come
I m a book of unsigned names and broken spines,
Lost pages tore around the edges.
Of a cover telling a million stories of hidden meanings that ought to be half-told truths
I m an open book so unreadable,
listed in the last corner of the library of life
And kept above the fireplace of death.
