Waking up to silent mornings, never more excruciating. Longing to hear those faint cries, one more time. Waking up to the summertime, 

Feeling the rainy day blues. 

Not one day goes by where I don’t think about you, Where I don’t think about, 

The way your face crinkled at the taste of lemon, The way your eyes traced every small detail, They way you so peacefully laid next to me. Your short life; a flickering candle. 

Eagerly waiting to seven, 

Maybe too early to assume. 

Like morning dew; you exhaled and flew up to heaven. You fell asleep too soon. 

My sweet angel, find your way. 

And I promise you, 

I will light a candle for you everyday.
