I Live Out

By Julie Makhoul

I live out the storm and the stillness,

Out past the edge where names dissolve.

I live out the ache, the echo,

The shine in constellations I evolve.

I live out myths in petaled hues,

Through every pane the light refracts.

A stained-glass goddess, rose and rune,

Who never breaks, who never lacks.

I live out music sewn in feathers,

Phoenix-spiraled, ever high.

I live out healing dressed in thunder,

Dancing with a violet sky.

I live out the stars, and they sing my name

Through cosmic bloom and lover's flame.

I live out the moon's quiet resolve,

A balm where broken light dissolves.

I live out the glass, in shards of grace,

Each petal placed with soft embrace.

A goddess woven of rune and rose,

Who dances where the silence grows.

I live out music in feathered arcs,

Where phoenix breath ignites the dark.

I live out thunder clothed in hue,

Violet skies that love me true.

I live out wild, unwritten flight

Not bound to fate but born of light.

I live out loud, I live out whole,

A song, a fire, a sacred soul.

I live out love in sacred motion,

Unwritten, wild, -

I live.
