I Have Been Replaced

I once was in your arms

The nightmares faded only 'cause of you

The whispered words drove me to sleep

But now, I am not the one in your arms

I am not the one whose nightmares are gone

I am not the one your words drive to sleep

I have been replaced !

When we walked on a snowy day

You promised me to stay forever by my side

You promised that I am the one for you

But now, I am not walking by your side

I am not the one you are making promises to

I am not the one you're promising

To be with always

I have been replaced !

The day on which I was dreading for to come,

Came so quickly and quietly that I didn’t know

I knew I would be broken

But I never imagined that

I would be shattered into million pieces

When you said those two words

From my nightmare

I realised that I had been replaced forever !
