I Hate You...But..

I hate the time I met you,

Because if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have stayed.

Yet, I cherished that minute,

Because that’s when my heart got laid.

I hate you because you touched me,

Because I wanted that moment to last.

I felt blissed and loved,

Yet I hate the spell you’ve cast.

I hate the way you look at me,

I am dark and ugly, you know.

I am afraid, you’ll find out how I feel,

I hope my eyes doesn’t show.

I hate the way you smile at me,

It stops all the space and time.

I feel at ease, when you laugh, when you speak,

Your voice sounds like a wind-chime.

I hate the times you’ve shown care,

I never knew why.

I really don’t know if I can count on you,

To catch the tears I cry.

I hate you because you stole my heart,

But I don’t want it returned.

The fact that it is safe with you,

Eventually, I have learned.

But how can I hate you, when I love you so much,

The warmth your presence brings to me,

Wanting to let out my feelings, I know I can’t,

Because no future of ours, I can foresee.
