I Fall.

I fall,

and I look up,

the war is still going on,

the people still fighting,

the cries ring through,

sun covered in fumes,

rain or tears the difference faded,

breathes dissolved into dust,

blood curling past the ground,

a world dying to chaos.

I fall,

and I look aside,

I see another soldier falling,

watching the same world dying into pieces,

different eyes,

distinct heart,

ebbing through life in the same air,

floating and falling.

I fall,

and I look down,

and oh,

it's the end for me now.
