Were the words I read in your eyes

The words your lips hid behind your lies.

"I don't need you anymore"

Screamed you, when the forever twain

Left one in pain.

"I don't need you anymore"

Said you, when you found your fit in your new world

Leaving me with your memories, sad and curled.

"I don't need you anymore"

Were the bitter words I heard in your sweet reason

For your deed, that to me, was no less than a treason.

"Why did I need you, ever and still"

Elevated my despair to greatest scale

"Why did I need you, ever and still"

'Cause somewhere, I knew we were never dovetail.

Lies told, feelings mocked by the guilty to fend,

But something tells me, this is not The end.

As the damage done was now beyond salvage

And the fire you ignited is now beyond love and rage!!
